За нас Community centers in Bulgaria are the first and oldest organized structures of civil society in the country. Unanimously accepted as important centers of local communities, they are a traditional and irreplaceable pillar of our national culture. Years ago, our community center chose its specific mission as a guardian and disseminator of Bulgarian culture, combining traditional, established and popular activities, and new modern strategies for sustainable development. The goal we set ourselves was to preserve the identity of the community center as an institution, but at the same time its vitality, without turning it into a museum exhibit. For it to develop as a modern - cultural and information center. Guided by the set goals - to satisfy the needs of citizens by creating, preserving and disseminating spiritual values, to create conditions for communication between communities, to support the preservation of folk traditions and customs in the town of Balchik and the municipality, it preserved and further developed the traditional forms in its activities: amateur art, holidays from the folk calendar, library activities - with traditional and innovative forms.
